Formidable Challenger to Bell Atlantic

KEW GARDENS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 29, 2000--DAG Media, Inc. (NASDAQ: DAGM - news), the leading independent print and online publisher of yellow page directories, today announced that its New Yellow Manhattan directory is in the final stages of printing. The 1280-page full-size and -color directory will be distributed door-to-door in the Manhattan area starting Friday, March 31, 2000. DAG Media also has an online version of the publication, which can be accessed at http://www.newyellow.com/.

With this rollout, DAG Media is entering the mainstream arena of the multi-billion dollar industry of yellow pages. New Yellow, which was the reason for DAG Media's initial public offering in May, 1999, allows the Company to break out of the niche market of special interest yellow page directories and use its unique skills and proven capabilities as a highly competitive mainstream player.

DAG Media is the first to distribute a yellow page directory in the Manhattan area in 2000, guaranteeing that New Yellow will reach the market before its competitors, including Bell Atlantic Yellow Pages and Yellow Book. The Company anticipates this launch will break Bell Atlantic's (NYSE: BEL - news) market dominance in the $300 million yellow page directories industry in New York.DAG Media President and Chief Executive Officer Assaf Ran commented, ``We have reached a major milestone in our company growth; a beginning of a new era. DAG Media is enjoying widespread public acceptance as we expand our product line beyond our traditional scope and Internet services.''

I am extremely proud of our dedicated staff whose hard work and full commitment allowed us to complete this huge project in an efficient and timely manner,`` Ran added.

New Yellow is printed on high-quality paper, and features over 120,000 business listings and more than 1,500 display ads. The directory also comprises a complete New York tourist and information guide, including lists and descriptions of historical landmarks, sightseeing tours, cultural and sports events, and other relevant information.

In addition to the other traditional yellow page directory components, New Yellow provides its users with 64 pages of colorful coupons and a complete Web guide, sponsored by Zoomgo.com, describing the structure and benefits of World Wide Web and how to best utilize it. The publication also lists the websites and email addresses for many businesses published in the listing and has provided free email addresses to those companies that wished to obtain one.
